NET Research Showcase 2026

Come along, meet the researchers working on neuroendocrine cancer in Aotearoa, and hear what’s happening. Less a lecture, more a chance to have a chat with the people doing the work – and you’re welcome to stay for drinks afterwards.

What to expect

An hour with the researchers

Short talks on neuroendocrine cancer projects at various stages, from researchers around the country – what they’re working on, why, and where it might lead. It closes with a karakia at 3.45pm, and then drinks from 4pm for anyone who’d like to stay and talk.

Do let us know you’re coming. It helps us with seating, and the researchers like to know when someone connected to a project will be in the room – it changes how they present.

The rest of the day

The showcase is the closing session of the NET Research Day, which runs from 9am. The morning and early afternoon are a working programme for researchers – talks and workshops, fairly technical, and registration for it asks you to submit a research abstract. You’re welcome to read the full programme.
