SCAN 2025 – NET patient survey (New Zealand)
The New Zealand reading of the global SCAN 2025 survey of neuroendocrine cancer patients and clinicians – how our care compares with the world.

SCAN (Survey on the Challenges faced by patients and clinicians Affected by NETs) is a global survey run every few years. In 2025, 110 New Zealand patients and 73 clinicians took part. The results show where New Zealand leads – free, nurse-led care and world-class PRRT access – and where we fall behind, on treatment delays and awareness of clinical trials.
